A Demand Planner creates demand forecasts and provides demand analysis and planning for a company. Analyzes sales data, monitors inventory, creates reports for company managers, and works to improve the accuracy of demand forecasts. May coordinate demand planning with sales, production or logistics departments.

How You'll Make an Impact The Demand Controller is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, stability, and transparency of the short-term execution signal (2-12 weeks) by aligning near-term demand across the business. In this role, you will: Ensure the accuracy, stability, and transparency of the short-term execution signal (2-12 weeks).
Review and analyze key inputs such as customer forecasts and sales orders, maintaining an aligned view of near-term demand.
Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Production Scheduling to clarify short-term adjustments to the constrained demand plan and their drivers.
Highlight risks and opportunities, monitor demand patterns, and ensure all execution signal adjustments are data-driven and well understood.
Track short-term execution performance metrics, including demand stability, plan adherence, and key drivers of week-to-week adjustments.
Inform demand planners and supply planners of key changes, order shifts, or risks that impact the longer-term forecast
Provide clear visibility into short-term customer demand behavior, including late orders, cancellations, and abnormal patterns
Ensure demand-related data in the system remains accurate, timely, and aligned with commercial guidance
Validate system updates following rebalancing or customer input changes to maintain data integrity
Adhere to governance routines for demand control within the ITP process
Monitor demand realization and flag recurring issues such as repeated last-minute order variations
Contribute to root-cause analysis for short-term demand deviations and propose corrective actions Required Qualifications that Enables Your Success Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a related analytical field.
2-4 years of experience in demand planning, customer service, supply chain analysis, or a similar data-driven planning role.
Experience working with sales orders, customer forecasts, and short-term demand-supply coordination is highly beneficial.
Proficiency with demand planning or forecasting systems; experience with platforms such as Kinaxis, OMP, o9, SAP IBP, or equivalent is a strong plus.
Solid experience with ERP systems
Proactive and accountable, with the ability to anticipate issues, escalate early, and take ownership of resolving short-term demand gaps while maintaining process discipline under pressure.
