Aerospace Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Clerk to support daily planning, purchasing, and order management activities in a fast-paced aerospace environment. This role is critical to ensuring timely material flow, accurate order processing, and effective communication with vendors and internal teams. Key Responsibilities Process and manage purchase orders (POs) in the ERP system Perform order entry and order processing for customer and internal requirements Support production planning by tracking material availability and lead times Prepare and manage supplier quotes and pricing comparisons Follow up with vendors on order status, expediting, and delivery commitments Review and interpret aerospace drawings and specifications to ensure correct material sourcing Maintain accurate data within the ERP system (items, vendors, pricing, lead times) Coordinate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve material or order issues Assist with backlog management and ensure on-time delivery performance Support compliance with AS9100 and company quality procedures Qualifications High school diploma required (Associate's or bachelor's preferred) 1-3 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or planning (aerospace preferred) Experience using an ERP system (e.g., Quantum Control, SAP, Oracle, or similar) Ability to read and interpret aerospace drawings and technical data Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis Preferred Qualifications Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or MRO environment Familiarity with
FAR/DFARS
flow downs or regulated industries Understanding of lead times, procurement cycles, and inventory control
