The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, able to anticipate supply chain risks well in advance, and capable of proactively identifying inventory shortages, supplier constraints, and production risks before they impact operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong forecasting capabilities, advanced Excel skills, ERP experience, and a sense of urgency while operating autonomously with minimal oversight. Key Responsibilities Purchasing & Supply Chain Operations Manage purchasing activities for assigned finished goods, raw materials, and supply categories Coordinate supplier forecasting and long-range inventory planning activities Monitor supplier lead times and proactively identify potential shortages or disruptions Support production scheduling and manufacturing supply continuity Manage supplier relationships and escalate risks proactively before operational impact occurs Work cross-functionally with Operations, Planning, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams Forecasting & Inventory Analytics Analyze inventory trends, usage patterns, and supplier performance to forecast potential shortages Utilize data analytics to identify supply chain risks 12-16+ weeks in advance Build and maintain forecasting reports, inventory analysis, and operational dashboards Support inventory optimization while maintaining customer fill rate expectations Analyze planning data, inventory levels, lead times, and replenishment trends Provide recommendations based on data-driven insights and operational forecasting ERP & Data Management Maintain ERP system accuracy related to inventory, supplier data, pricing, and lead times Extract and manipulate ERP data using advanced Excel functions and reporting tools Utilize pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis techniques to support purchasing decisions Support continuous improvement initiatives related to reporting and supply chain processes Supplier & Operational Support Maintain strong supplier communication and performance management Support expediting efforts and supply recovery plans when necessary Assist with cost reduction initiatives and operational efficiencies Collaborate with internal stakeholders regarding demand changes and supply constraints
Qualifications Required:
5+ years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Inventory Planning, or Logistics Strong forecasting, inventory planning, and analytical experience Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (pivot tables, lookups, reporting, analytics) Experience working within ERP systems Strong problem-solving and proactive decision-making abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Excellent communication and organizational skills High sense of urgency and ownership mentality
Preferred:
Manufacturing or production environment experience Experience forecasting shortages and managing long lead-time materials SAP or similar ERP system experience Exposure to Power BI or reporting/dashboard tools Supplier forecasting and production planning experience Exposure to global sourcing, import/export, or logistics operations Education Bachelor's degree preferred but NOT required Equivalent hands-on experience will be strongly considered Work Environment Fully onsite role in Grand Prairie, TX Fast-paced manufacturing environment Flexible scheduling available 4-day / 10-hour work schedule available Potential flexibility for remote Fridays depending on schedule structure Collaborative, operationally focused team environment •Only US Citizens or GC Holders able to be considered at this time•
