Staffmark is hiring Transportation Clerks for a leading logistics operation in Lancaster, TX. This role is ideal for candidates with customer service, transportation, logistics, dispatch, or warehouse office experience. The Transportation Clerk will serve as a key point of contact for drivers, vendors, visitors, and customers while supporting daily transportation operations. When responsibility calls, you're ready to lead. These are the qualifications that matter. High school diploma or GED required Previous customer service, logistics, transportation, dispatch, or clerical experience preferred Strong computer skills and ability to learn transportation management systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and professional demeanor Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties:

Check in drivers and verify shipment information for accuracy Dispatch drivers and release loads through the Transportation Management System (TMS) Direct drivers to designated shipping and receiving locations Monitor transportation activities and provide status updates as needed Troubleshoot operational and system issues to support workflow efficiency Communicate with drivers, customers, vendors, and internal teams regarding transportation activities Maintain accurate transportation records and documentation Support special projects and operational initiatives as assigned Provide professional customer service and support at all times Why This Job?
