Local travel may be required as needed; long-distance and overnight travel is limited and generally expected to be less than 10% annually. Position Summary The Logistics Administrator supports procurement, logistics, inventory, shipping, import/export, and related administrative operations. This position coordinates purchase orders, shipments, inventory records, ERP transactions, invoicing, and import/export documentation while communicating with vendors, logistics providers, customers, and internal departments. The Logistics Administrator works closely with Manufacturing, Warehouse, QA/QC, Accounting, EHS, and Management to support material availability, production requirements, and timely customer order fulfillment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Procurement and Logistics Create, process, and maintain purchase orders, requisitions, and purchasing records within the company ERP system. Coordinate purchasing activities with vendors and internal departments to support material availability. Monitor open purchase orders, delivery schedules, pricing discrepancies, and order status. Coordinate and track domestic and international shipments for raw materials, production materials, equipment, and finished goods. Communicate with vendors, carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers regarding orders, shipments, pickups, and deliveries. Assist with resolving shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, delivery concerns, and urgent or expedited shipment needs. Import / Export and FTZ Support import and export activities and maintain required shipping and customs documentation. Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, bonded facilities, and logistics providers regarding international shipments and customs clearance. Support Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) documentation, shipment coordination, material tracking, and recordkeeping when applicable. Maintain organized records supporting import/export, customs, bonded, and FTZ activities. Inventory and ERP Management Monitor inventory levels and material availability for raw materials, production supplies, and finished goods. Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, receiving, shipping, and invoicing information within the ERP system. Assist with inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, physical inventories, and audits. Coordinate inventory updates and material movements with Warehouse and Manufacturing personnel. Identify and report inventory or ERP discrepancies. Generate inventory, purchasing, shipment, and operational reports as requested. Shipping, Invoicing, and Documentation Prepare and maintain shipping, receiving, invoicing, inventory, and operational documentation. Verify purchase order, shipment, quantity, and supporting information for accuracy. Coordinate invoice information and discrepancies with Accounting and appropriate vendors. Maintain organized and accurate records in accordance with company document-control and retention requirements. Customer and Internal Coordination Coordinate customer order requirements, quantities, shipment schedules, and delivery expectations with appropriate departments. Communicate material availability, shipment status, delays, and operational concerns to Manufacturing, Warehouse, QA/QC, Accounting, EHS, and Management. Coordinate with Manufacturing and Warehouse to support production requirements and shipment preparation. Coordinate with QA/QC regarding product holds, releases, and shipment status. Maintain professional communication with customers, vendors, logistics providers, and internal departments. Provide logistics, procurement, inventory, and shipment updates as requested. Safety, Compliance, and Administrative Support Follow company SOPs, quality standards, EHS requirements, security procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements. Wear required PPE and follow applicable safety requirements when entering warehouse, manufacturing, chemical storage, or other operational areas. Follow applicable requirements for chemical, hazardous, or regulated materials. Support internal, customer, ISO, regulatory, and operational audits by maintaining accurate records. Maintain confidentiality of company, customer, vendor, pricing, shipment, and proprietary information. Support continuous-improvement initiatives related to logistics and business processes. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Education High school diploma or GED required. Associate or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations, or a related field preferred. Language Requirements Fluency in English and Korean is required. Must be able to communicate effectively in both English and Korean through verbal and written business communications. Must be able to communicate with Korean-speaking employees, management, vendors, and business partners as required by the position. Experience Entry-level candidates with relevant education, training, administrative experience, or transferable skills are encouraged to apply. Experience in logistics, supply chain, procurement, inventory control, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing administration is preferred but not required. Experience in a manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, semiconductor, industrial, or warehouse environment is preferred but not required. Experience with ERP systems, import/export activities, shipping documentation, customs processes, or FTZ operations is preferred but not required. Licenses and Certifications No specific professional license or certification is required. Additional import/export, FTZ, safety, security, or regulatory training may be required based on assigned responsibilities. Background Screening and Regulatory Requirements Due to the nature of company operations and this position's potential access to sensitive information, regulated materials, shipping records, and restricted operational areas, background screening and security requirements may apply. Employment may be contingent upon successful completion of company-required background screening. Employees must maintain any security, system, facility, or restricted-area access required for assigned duties. Employees assigned responsibilities involving DEA-regulated or other regulated materials must meet applicable training, access, documentation, and security requirements. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams. Ability to effectively use ERP and other business systems. Basic understanding of procurement, logistics, inventory, shipping, and supply chain processes. Ability to read and understand purchase orders, invoices, shipping documents, customs documentation, and inventory records. Ability to identify discrepancies, resolve routine issues, and manage multiple priorities. Ability to communicate professionally with customers, vendors, logistics providers, and internal departments. Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Physical Requirements The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including: Sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Regular use of computers, telephones, and standard office equipment. Walking and standing within office, warehouse, manufacturing, and shipping/receiving areas as required. Occasionally lifting and carrying materials or supplies weighing up to 25 pounds. Using required PPE when entering designated operational areas.
