Junior Production Planner

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Production Planner to join our manufacturing team. This role is essential in coordinating production schedules, optimizing supply chain operations, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in production management, ERP systems, and lean manufacturing principles. Responsibilities Assist production planner with creation, maintenance, and tracking of production work orders. Maintain appropriate production department documentation. Support process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing manufacturing efficiency and reducing waste through lean manufacturing techniques. Assist in coordinating with manufacturing teams to align production plans with capacity and resource availability. Monitor production progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to meet delivery deadlines. Contribute to quality control processes by ensuring adherence to standards and continuous process improvement practices. Analyze supply chain analytics data to optimize operations management strategies across the plant. Support plant management in implementing lean principles and operational best practices for assembly and manufacturing workflows. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field preferred. Strong understanding of production planning, supply chain analytics, and operations management. Experience with

SAP, ERP

systems, MRP software, and plant management tools is highly desirable. Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies such as Lean and Continuous Improvement is a plus. Mechanical knowledge or background in manufacturing processes will be advantageous. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for process improvement and quality control initiatives. Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration within manufacturing environments. Pay:

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
