Start:

September, flexible We're looking for a reliable, organized Household Assistant to help keep the house running smoothly, covering errands, scheduling, and light housekeeping. This is not a childcare or nanny position. There is no regular childcare and no school transportation involved . This is a steady part-time role for someone who works well independently once priorities are set and communicates clearly.

Schedule:

Flexible options include 1 day/week, 2 days/week, 1-2 days/biweekly Calendar Track, schedule, confirm, and send reminders for appointments (one adult, one child) Manage and communicate family schedule changes Errands Curbside grocery pickup with drive-thru prescription pickup at the same stop, other curbside pickups as needed, and dropping off returns Occasional shipping and shopping Housekeeping (not a deep-cleaning role) Maintain order between bi-weekly professional cleanings Load and unload the dishwasher, wipe down food surfaces, tidy high-traffic areas, and take out trash Prepare simple meals to supplment weekly meal service Track household supplies and restock approved items Home Coordination Report any repairs you notice to the property manager and document them Confirm with the property manager that regular maintenance has occurred Travel Support A few times a year (about 4), you'd help prepare the home and pets before we're away. This is prep-only support and doesn't involve any travel on your part. This work may add extra hours during a stretch when we otherwise need less from you. We have cats, so comfort in a cat-friendly home and attentiveness to secure-door habits is important. We keep a calm household, usually with some TV on in the background and moderate lighting, and we're looking for someone who fits easily into that rhythm. What we're looking for: reliable, organized, discreet, proactive, and a clear communicator. Comfortable working independently once priorities are set. Takes feedback well and raises concerns directly and kindly. Notices small friction points or gaps in how things run and can offer suggestions.

Preferred experience:

Household assistant, personal assistant, executive assistant, office manager, or hospitality professional. Strong transferable skills are also welcome.

Working relationship:

The first 60 days are a mutual evaluation period (this is an at-will position throughout). As the role settles into a rhythm, we ask for advance notice if you ever need to step away, ideally two weeks or more.
