As a Supply Chain Planning Specialist - Level 2 or 3, you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is located at the Promontory, Utah, location.
Your role and impact:
  • Responsible for supporting Procurement commodity teams with various supply chain related tasks.
  • Interface with Suppliers for Purchase Order delivery status and oversight that includes but is not limited to, sending Weekly Open Order Report to Suppliers, maintain current Purchase Order delivery dates, provide status to other functions for Program visibility, request and track part milestone schedule and closeout any administrative Purchase Order actions.
  • Conduct and lead Weekly/Bi-Weekly status meetings with Suppliers and other Global Supply Chain functions.
  • Interface and collaborate with Buyer, Programs and other organizations within and outside of Global Supply Chain
  • Ability to plan schedule and arrange activities to accomplish objectives This position will be filled at either a Level 2 or Level 3 Basic Qualifications for Level 2:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field and 2 + years of relevant experience - OR - Master's degree and 1+ year of related experience in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance Basic Qualifications for Level 3:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field and 5 + years of relevant experience - OR - Master's degree and 3+ year of related experience in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.
S. Government Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience managing suppliers
  • Experience within the Aerospace or Aviation industry
  • Experience with

Primary Level Salary Range:
$65,500.00 - $98,300.00
Secondary Level Salary Range:
$81,400.00 - $122,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
