We move fast and value self-starters who take ownership of their work. As a member of our team, your work directly ensures that our customers—from professional athletes to weekend warriors—get back to their training as quickly as possible. The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Reverse Logistics Technician to manage the lifecycle of products returning to our facility. This role is a critical blend of technical troubleshooting, hardware repair, and quality management. In this position, you aren't just fixing what's broken—you are an investigator. You will perform root cause analyses to understand why products fail, document your findings in our Quality Management System (QMS), and work to improve our return processes to reduce average turn-around times. If you are a proactive problem-solver who enjoys working with hardware and electronic systems, this is a great opportunity to join a growing wellness tech brand.
Key Responsibilities Technical Diagnostic & Repair:
Evaluate, inspect, and rework customer-returned products and nonconforming units, ensuring they meet our "like-new" performance standards.
Root Cause Analysis:
Document investigations into product issues to identify why failures occur, generating supplementary data to help our engineering team improve future designs.
Quality Management:
Complete day-to-day procedures for customer complaints and nonconforming products within our QMS software, maintaining accurate records of all actions taken.
Inventory & Demo Management:
Manage the physical refurbished inventory and test demo returned products to ensure they are ready for the field.
Process Optimization:
Actively look for ways to improve the return process to reduce average turn-around times and increase efficiency.
Reporting:
Provide weekly and monthly summaries of customer complaint trends and resolution status to the team.
Technical Support:
Run PCBA equipment and assist with product assembly and engineering projects as necessary to support production needs.
Operational Agility:
Maintain a clean, orderly workspace to prevent inventory mix-ups and assist with fulfillment or warehouse needs during peak periods.
Qualifications Technical Aptitude:
Strong hands-on mechanical or electrical interest. Previous experience in repair, manufacturing, or hardware troubleshooting is preferred.
Investigative Mindset:
A natural curiosity for "how things work" and a desire to find the root cause of technical issues.
Software Proficiency:
Comfortable using software systems for detailed data entry and documentation.
Reliability:
A consistent and dependable work ethic is essential for maintaining our service timelines.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to be on your feet for 5-6 hours a day and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.
Schedule & Benefits Flexibility:
We are open to both Part-Time (15-25 hours/week) and Full-Time applicants. We offer flexible scheduling (8am-4pm or 9am-5pm).
Compensation:
$16.00 - $18.00/hr (Depending on experience).
Paid Break:
We provide a fully paid 1-hour lunch for all full-time shifts.
Perks:
Flexible dress code, a positive startup environment, and significant employee discounts on Rapid Reboot products.
