Overview Logistician (EDOS-2026-25344): Bowhead seeks a Logistician with attention to detail, organizational and administrative skills, and is able to support multiple E Dept. programs of moderate scope. Responsibilities Job duties include but are not limited to: Receive purchase requests via SharePoint from Government Technical Points of Contact (TPOCs) Identifying package submission routes such as Government Purchase Card (PCARD), Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP), or Simplified Acquisition Purchase (SAP) package. Research mandatory source options by conducting market research and submitting technical screenings via Integrated Business Planning and Execution System (IBPES). Identifying specific approvals that are required for purchase requests. Creating and submitting Information Technology Procurement Requests (ITPRs) via the Navy Information Technology Approval System (NAV-ITAS) for all IT related hardware, support services, and all software. Communicating with numerous vendors on behalf of Government TPOCs regarding quotes, safety information, or any other documentation for items/services being requested for purchase. Confirming vendors have an updated Section 889 form or SAM.gov registration ensuring they fall under required FAR clause. Working with Government TPOCs to ensure all required documentation for SAP packages are completed. Documents may include but are not limited to Brand Name Memorandum (BNM) or Sole Source Justification (SSJ), Statement of Work (SOW), Requirements List, Urgency Justification Form, Procurement Data Package cover sheet (PDP), Government Furnished Property form (GFP), Independent Government Estimate (IGE), and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL). Submit PCARD and MILSTRIP orders via IBPES. Submit Contract fund requests via IBPES for PR creation. Track and monitor all purchase requests and update accordingly via SharePoint and Acquisition Management System (AMS)/Procurement Management Tool (PMT). Ensure there is constant communication with Government TPOCs while working their purchase requests.' Attend monthly meetings as required by Government Points of Contact Qualifications Bachelors degree is preferred, but a High School diploma or GED equivalent is required. One to three (1-3) years combined experience in military logistics, procurement or warehouse operations. Demonstrated experience with Government procurements, maintaining database systems, or with military logistics operations. Experience in the following Government systems is preferred:

SharePoint and Excel Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team The below types of skills/qualifications are of importance and/or value for this work area. Attention to Detail. Highly Organized. Experience with databases such as SharePoint and/or Microsoft Excel Demonstrated ability to heavily multi-task and work in a fast pace environment. Demonstrated experience with customer service and various follow-up mechanisms. Quick learner on processes.

Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
