About the Role As a Commercial Transport Specialist, you will play a vital role in our logistics operations by ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of heavy machinery to various job sites. You will leverage modern fleet management technology to streamline your routes and maintain high standards of service, directly impacting our ability to support critical construction projects. Responsibilities Safely operate heavy-duty commercial vehicles in compliance with all state and federal transportation regulations. Execute precise maneuvers to load and unload heavy equipment, ensuring cargo is secured according to safety standards. Maintain accurate digital logs, shipping manifests, and delivery documentation to ensure operational transparency. Perform routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance checks to ensure fleet readiness and safety. Coordinate with site teams to optimize loading patterns and ensure timely arrival at project locations. Provide professional, clear communication with clients and internal staff to facilitate seamless delivery experiences. Qualifications Required Skills Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to pass a DOT physical, background check, and drug screening. Proven experience operating heavy haul equipment such as lowboys or RGN trailers. Preferred Skills Strong spatial awareness for navigating tight job sites and loading areas. Experience with electronic logging devices and fleet tracking software. Commitment to safety-first protocols and continuous improvement in logistics efficiency.
