What You'll Do Day-To-Day Ensures that procured products and services meet lead- time, price and quality criteria. Moves materials and products in the work area by proper handling method (including hazardous materials). Inputs and maintains relevant data in information systems. Assists and supports audits. Coordinates incoming and outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products and parts. Ensures material availability and delivery when needed to meet production schedules. Coordinates inbound and outbound logistical operations. Assists with inventory management, warehousing and transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products. Manages and monitors inventory levels. Creates purchase requisitions for the acquisition of materials, supplies, and services ensuring that the materials are acquired in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all material is properly identified with appropriate labels and part numbers.
  • Carefully handle material to prevent any damage during handling in the warehouse or delivery to production.
  • Explain warehouse procedures and processes to fellow workers.
  • Pull and kit material as needed, coordinate with Material Handlers, and resolve material flow issues raised by production through root cause analysis.
  • Adhere to all safety rules and established processes, perform duties with urgency, and continually seek process improvements.
  • Work independently and as a strong team player, maintain attention to detail under deadlines, and communicate effectively with others while accepting criticism.
  • Train others on departmental processes and perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
What You'll Bring High School diploma or equivalent education Minimum of 0 years of related experience. Basic knowledge of inbound and outbound logistics processes, including inventory management, warehousing, packaging, handling and transportation. Basic communication skills to comprehend, follow direction and convey data. Good problem identification and problem resolution skills. Exhibits questioning attitude and practices self-checking.
Total Rewards Package Total Rewards Package Salary:
$21.60 - $28.30 per hour, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
