Job Description

This position will be responsible for ordering, tracking and issuing materials, parts and assemblies according to production and shipping schedules for the product group. Experience with MRP, order points, min/max levels and cycle counts is desired.
Available Shifts:
1st Shift, M-Th 7:00am-4:30pm, Fri 7:00am-11:00am, OT when necessary Your Role on
Our Team:
Purchasing including the set-up of new vendors, quote requests, sample requests, generation purchase orders, receiving of purchase orders, follow-up on vendor quality issues and issuing of inventory. Verifies incoming products. Arranges in-plant transfer of materials. Forecasts/computes amount of material required to complete job orders applying knowledge of product and manufacturing processes. May create work orders (and masters) to meet demands. Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records, such as material inventory, in-process production reports, and status and location of materials. Issues and receives materials. Coordinates return of purchased items for quality issues, warranty, repair or refunds. Generate new part numbers upon request. Reconciliation of work orders. Requests quotes on shipping, coordinates pick-up and delivery of finished products to customer locations and prepares shipping documentation.
