Join our team as a Professional Supply Management. Job Summary This position is responsible for supporting product development by executing purchasing activity, developing and implementing commodity strategies or managing supply chain. This position is responsible for negotiation, contract management and change management while measuring quality, cost, and delivery performance of all suppliers. Will work as an interface between the supply management process and various process areas within manufacturing. Job Responsibilities Demonstrates working knowledge and experience in Supply Management. Ability to drive results with a moderate level of guidance and direction. Impacts quality of their own work in Developmental Purchasing, Indirect Procurement, Supply Chain, or Supply Base and the work of others on their team. Solves problems by analyzing possible solutions using technical experience, judgment with a moderate level of guidance and direction. Provides informal guidance to new Supply Management team members and impacts the work of others within the group. Effectively communicates complex information involving Developmental Purchasing, Indirect Procurement, Supply Base, or Supply Chain to others. Education Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent RequiredEducation Specifications Experience Requirements Required-- Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of Product Development and key business drivers such as Developmental Purchasing, Indirect Procurement, Supply Base, or Supply Chain
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a group and / or team and provide guidance to new team members Preferred-
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Motorcycle riding experience and knowledge in Harley-Davidson motorcycles and accessories.
