Your Role:
In this role responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Load and unload freight. Selects orders for processing. Locate, move, deliver or return all required materials to proper areas. Accurately document all movement of materials. Verifies chemicals, catalog number, lot number, special requests information, unit size and weights against order documentation found in packing instructions. Prints and applies all required labels and markings to box to comply with hazardous materials regulations. Condenses, straightens, and maintains warehouse and dock areas. Use a powered pallet jack and manual material handling equipment. Pack hazardous items for shipment to customer following established procedures and instructions while complying with hazard regulations. Prepare materials for shipment. Verifies that all the appropriate markings and labels are present all packages to comply with company procedures and DOT, IATA, and IMO regulations, making corrections when necessary. Perform defined audit tasks. Receives material from outside vendors. Scans or meters product into the shipping system.
Shift/Hours:
2nd shift, 2:00 PM
  • 10:30 PM
  • Monday
  • Friday, overtime as needed.
Physical Attributes:
Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment including but not limited to hard hats, goggles and gloves. Push, pull and/or lift up to 60 lbs.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong communication skills. Experience operating PCs, scanners, printers, CRTs and shipping equipment. Detail oriented and fast-paced. Experience with hazardous materials. Experience with shipping regulations. Pay Range for this position
  • $20.00/hr.
  • $31.
00/hr. The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
