Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking a Material Planner for a leading global manufacturing organization in Sheboygan Falls, WI to work a 1 year contract. This position is responsible for planning and coordinating material supply, inventory, production, and container fleet availability to ensure customer demand is met while maintaining supply chain efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong SAP planning experience, advanced Excel skills, and a background in production, inventory, purchasing, or supply chain planning. ResponsibilitiesCreate and manage SAP transactions including process orders, purchase orders, and stock transfer ordersMonitor inventory levels and material flow to ensure uninterrupted supply to internal and external customersDevelop production and purchasing plans based on customer demand and inventory requirementsEstablish monthly production targets and support long-range planning activitiesTrack and manage supply chain KPIs related to inventory, customer service, and supply reliabilityCollaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Transportation, Customer Service, and Procurement teamsSupport monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) activities and reportingPresent supply constraints, risks, and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholdersAdditional Planning ResponsibilitiesManage customer order planning and material replenishment activitiesCoordinate cylinder and container fleet planning to support customer demandReview container utilization and cycle times throughout the supply chainUtilize planning and analytics tools to evaluate fleet requirements and optimize inventory positioningSupport annual capital expenditure planning activitiesMaintain planning databases, ERP records, and work-in-process reportingCoordinate procurement activities to ensure material availabilityAssist in documenting and improving planning processes and proceduresQualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree and 3+ years of planning, production, inventory, purchasing, or supply chain experience; ORAssociate degree and 5+ years of relevant supply chain experience3+ years of
