Job Description

Description:
The Transportation Services Coordinator (TSC) is responsible for service coordination including scheduling rides for members, business office related tasks, and other duties to aide in the successful coordination of transportation services. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned:
Schedule trips for riders as assigned by state transportation broker. Assist in business office related tasks as assigned. Answer phone calls and enter information into scheduling system. Update driver/vehicle profiles or any other information needed into scheduling system. Schedule trips as needed for members. Communicate with transportation manager (TM) regarding all issues within the transportation system. Communicate and collaborate with Transportation Manager about routes, driver hours, and overall efficiency of the region. Other duties as assigned by the TM.
Benefits:
Starting Wage:
$20-$21 per hour with a possibility of a bonus after six months Full benefits 3 weeks

Qualifications - Education and/or
Experience/ Other Skills and Abilities:
Possess strong communication (oral and written) and ongoing problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and within a team. Ability to work on the company's computer system. Ability to receive and implement feedback. Ability to be proactive and self directed. Ability to represent Northwest within the expectations of the agencies customer relations practices.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Work in office areas and throughout the facility. Ability to work on the company computer. Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Ability to answer phones. Ability to complete all aspects of filing.
