Description:

We are seeking a driven and capable Supply Chain Specialist to join our growing team and play a key role in our operational success. This individual will play a key role in day-to-day supply chain execution, including procurement, inventory, and planning activities. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and able to support efficient production through strong coordination of materials, suppliers, and internal workflows. Familiarity with Epicor (or similar ERP systems) is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Support end-to-end supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory control, material planning, logistics, and vendor coordination. Execute daily supply chain processes to ensure materials are available to meet production schedules. Monitor workflows and help identify process gaps or inefficiencies. Assist in sourcing and selecting suppliers to ensure cost, quality, and delivery expectations are met. Create and manage purchase orders; follow up on order status and delivery schedules. Maintain strong working relationships with vendors to support day-to-day operations. Support demand planning and material requirements planning (MRP) activities within Epicor. Track inventory levels and help maintain appropriate stock to balance production needs and costs. Monitor for shortages, delays, or excess inventory and escalate issues as needed. Assist with basic data analysis to identify trends, risks, or supply chain constraints. Utilize Epicor to manage purchasing, planning, and inventory transactions with accuracy. Maintain data integrity within the ERP system, including item records, order status, and inventory levels. Support continuous improvement of ERP usage and reporting. Work closely with production, operations, and finance teams to support alignment of materials and scheduling needs. Communicate clearly regarding order status, material availability, and potential delays. Follow company policies and best practices related to safety, documentation, and compliance. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Operations, Business, or related field (preferred) 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with procurement, inventory management, or planning functions Working knowledge of ERP systems (Epicor strongly preferred) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Good communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
