Production Planner - Purchasing-Inventory Control Kearneysville, WV | Full-Time | On-Site | Contract-to-Hire $60,000+ Annually | Great Benefits About the Role Looking for a role where your planning and organizational skills make a measurable difference? Our next Production Manager will be at the center of production planning, inventory management, and cross-functional coordination—helping drive efficiency and deliver for our customers. What You'll Do
  • Coordinate workflow with the plant manager to meet customer shipping dates
  • Complete delivery date input during sales order reviews and supply weekly backlog and forecast updates
  • Work closely with the sales team on capacity planning and stock ordering to meet customer demand
  • Coordinate with purchasing to maintain inventory levels of standard stock items
  • Communicate with internal teams to keep customers informed on order status
  • Support new product launches including setting up inventory and sales parts
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies through root cause analysis
  • Coordinate cycle count activities and report and resolve discrepancies
  • Serve as primary backup to the plant manager for shop order distribution, finished goods receiving, job folder preparation, and serial number QC What You Bring
  • Experience in planning, purchasing, or inventory management (required)
  • Warehouse or inventory management background (required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Strong attention to detail with planning, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work across departments and communicate clearly in writing and verbally
  • Self-motivated, able to manage multiple priorities
  • Leadership experience is a plus
