Co-op:
An 8-month long opportunity, Co-op positions are a full-time employment experience. Co-ops are fully immersed into the worlds of corporate and production industry as a full-time team member.
Internship:
A semester long opportunity, Internships positions are a part-time employment experience. With the opportunity to extend multiple semesters, Interns tap into the foundations of our corporate and production industries.
Co-op and Intern opportunities span across 18 of Bobcat's different functions.
Role & Responsibility
Material Planning:
Plan, schedule, and order parts to meet build schedule requirements
Coordinate and implement Engineering Change Notices Minimize expediting time and freight costs (air and ground) for parts issues
Manage past due purchase orders and work with Accounts Payable on supplier invoicing issues
Materials & Logistics:
Establish and monitor metrics relative to the local and regional supply chain
Design, prototype and implementation of material flow and logistics options within the supply chain
Design optimized models for inbound and outbound logistics networks
Calculate manpower needs for supply chain segments
Sourcing:
Resolve tactical sourcing issues, assisting with improving material flow and supporting strategic initiatives
Identify potential sources, gather quotes, evaluate supplier proposals and perform cost analysis
Participate in the world class VA (Value Add) process working collaboratively with Product Engineering
Support and participation in negotiations and contract development with outside suppliers Job Requirement Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing seeking a degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management or equivalent
Be able to commit to Bobcat for the entire term of the co-op (8 months) or internship (4 months)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Team player, fast learner, and adaptable to change
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills is a must
A self-starter and will dig into problems independently and will look for limited guidance
Basic computer skills
Ability to follow written instructions #WayUpOthers

The salary range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00 per hour depending on experience and other factors.
