About the role:
As a Lead Delivery Stream Engineer you will utilize technical knowledge to lead and oversee all the procurement activities (pre-Purchase Order (PO) and post-PO) in the
WBS 9/10
Electrical and I&C Equipment Tower and within the Westinghouse APX Supply Chain organization. The candidate reports to the WBS 9 Manager and ensures assigned electrical equipment and components are delivered on schedule, on budget, and meeting all applicable technical and quality requirements. The Lead Delivery Stream Engineer is responsible for procurement of Electrical Equipment to support large scale new AP1000 Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) Projects, working with cross-functional teams to develop procurement strategies, and execute procurement plans. Lead all procurement activities in assigned programs to assure readiness for pre-PO and post PO activities to ensure predictive delivery during execution. You will report to the WBS 9 Electrical Equipment Manager and be located at Cranberry Township office on a hybrid basis. No relocation will be provided for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the team in building a sourcing strategy considering the Total cost of Ownership (Prices / On time Delivery / Quality, ...) Develop and implement processes and standard works within the organization. Build "the bridge" with the different department (Engineering, SPE, Global Procurement, internal stakeholders, suppliers) to develop a strong execution plan in serving our customer on time. Scout the market to identify modern technologies that create value for the end customer.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering. Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract/project administration, preferably of large, complex engineering, procurement, and construction projects is preferred). Demonstrated leadership skills across cultures, languages, and locations. Strong Analytic experience with advanced problem-solving ability and high attitude for ownership. Ability to develop and maintain long term productive relationships with suppliers. A team player collaborating with multiple regions & product lines to serve Westinghouse's customers. Ability to engage at all organizational levels, ability to cultivate and sustain high quality professional relationships. Strategic & analytical orientation with ability to translate strategy into tangible operational results. Experience with large and complex cross-functional projects. Ability to travel up to 20%.
