We are seeking a Principal Engineering Logistics Specialist to join Life Cycle Engineering (LCE). Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are safe, reliable, maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability. As a Principal Engineering Logistics Specialist, you'll be the Project Lead supporting repair contracts for both ground and missile systems. You will ensure repaired assets are returned to the customer in accordance with the financial and schedule limitations of the contract. In this role you will execute in a highly dynamic environment as each repair needs to be individually tracked. You will coordinate and collaborate with the repair performing locations and across functional areas like supply chain and finance to provide the status of the repairs to program management and the customer. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Tewksbury, MA; Huntsville, AL; or El Paso, TX. What You Will Do Consolidate and present weekly status of repairs, manage monthly contract deliverables. Perform budget and schedule analysis for all repairs. Prepare and present metrics and status at internal and external program reviews Coordinate with supporting functions to move repair assets through the process. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience Experience in program planning, budgeting, or earned value management (EVMS) for cost and schedule performance. Experience in repair-and-return processes, material acquisition, supply chain, logistics, operations, manufacturing, depot operations, engineering, or maintenance. Qualifications We Prefer Proficient in Microsoft Office and skilled in data analysis and presentation to audiences of varying sizes. Strong understanding of FMS and DCS contract execution. Experienced with PRISM, SAP, ARMS, and APEX systems. Detail oriented with demonstrated teamwork, self-initiative, and effective written and verbal communication skills. Onsite:
Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
