SUPPLY CHAIN & AI INTERN
Corporate Supply Chain - Inventory, Panning & Digital Transformation Position Summary Support Benchmark Electronics' AI-driven supply chain transformation initiatives by combining supply chain analytics, automation, and digital technologies to improve productivity, decision-making, inventory performance, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
  • Knowledge and understanding of key supply chain data such as planning, demand management, inventory, procurement/supply and supplier performance.
  • Support the Supply Chain AI working group to organize and review opportunities to automate repetitive supply chain processes through AI, workflow tools, and advanced analytics. Enhance dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking tools through the use of data, Excel, Power BI, and AI-enabled technologies.
  • Support AI projects focused on forecasting, inventory optimization, risk sensing, exception management, and supplier collaboration.
  • Perform data validation, data cleansing, and root-cause analysis to improve data quality and process accuracy.
  • Research emerging AI technologies and prepare recommendations for supply chain AI working group.
  • Participate in cross-functional process improvement and digital transformation initiatives. Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, Fabric, Tableau, AI tools, or automation platforms API integration, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Copilot, Dataserve) preferred. Learning Opportunities
  • Gain hands-on experience applying AI to real-world supply chain challenges.
  • Work directly with supply chain AI working group leadership.
  • Develop advanced analytics, reporting, and automation skills.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives involving planning, inventory management, procurement, and digital transformation. Success Measures
  • Completion of a measurable analytics or AI improvement project.
  • Demonstrated reduction in manual effort, reporting cycle time, or data quality issues.
  • Delivery of actionable insights that improve supply chain performance.
