https://aem.com.sg/ Position Summary AEM is seeking an experienced Stockroom Specialist to support the efficient flow of materials throughout our manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for shipping and receiving activities, inventory control, stockroom organization, material handling, kitting, packaging, and supporting production requirements. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing inventory within a manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong understanding of material control processes, ERP systems, shipping documentation, and international logistics requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Shipping & Receiving Receive incoming materials, verify quantities, inspect shipments for damage, and accurately process receipts. Prepare and ship domestic and international customer orders, supplier returns, and internal transfers. Coordinate shipments with carriers including UPS, FedEx, DHL, freight providers, and international logistics companies. Ensure all shipping documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company requirements. Maintain shipping records and support tracking and traceability requirements. Stockroom Management Maintain accurate inventory records through proper material transactions and cycle counting activities. Organize and manage stockroom locations to ensure efficient material storage and retrieval. Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or discrepancies to management. Support inventory audits and physical inventory activities. Ensure proper handling, storage, and identification of materials. Kitting & Production Support Create production kits according to work orders and manufacturing schedules. Issue materials to manufacturing and ensure timely availability of components. Verify kit accuracy and maintain traceability of materials. Support production teams with material requests and inventory transactions. Packing & Logistics Package products and materials according to customer, regulatory, and company requirements. Prepare export shipments and ensure compliance with applicable shipping regulations. Generate shipping labels, packing lists, commercial invoices, and related documentation. Coordinate special packaging requirements for sensitive, high-value, or international shipments. Process Compliance & Continuous Improvement Follow company procedures related to inventory control, quality, safety, and material handling. Support implementation of process improvements within stockroom and logistics operations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Assist with other materials and logistics activities as required. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, stockroom management, inventory control, or materials management within a manufacturing environment. Experience with inventory transactions and ERP/MRP systems. Experience with domestic and international shipping processes. Ability to safely handle and move materials using standard warehouse equipment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, stockroom, or warehouse operations. Experience supporting semiconductor, electronics, ceramics, or high-technology manufacturing environments. Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs requirements. Experience with cycle counting, inventory audits, and material traceability systems. Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment. Experience with
SAP, SAP
Business One, or similar ERP systems.
