GENERAL DISCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE

To oversee all plant Raw Material inventories and ordering of Raw Materials from raw sourcing group, tracking from direct field harvest, coolers & transfers to meet finished product schedule demand.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS / DUTIES OF THE POSITION

Supervise Soledad raw material inventories, orders & deliveries through the national sourcing group in accordance with forecasted demand. Daily reporting and order execution matters communicated on the regional raw material conference call. Work with regional plant supply managers and supervisors to implement & advance resupply models & order work sheets. Work with national sourcing and west coolers improving hold over consumption opportunities. Report, track & take corrective action to improve Soledad raw disposal costs with national sourcing and plant supply teams. Warehouse and Truck transfer management Track & communicate raw quality issues Maintain mainframe and JD Edwards systems Follow all food safety requirements and GMP's as applicable for this position Ensure the integrity and continued operations of the food safety system in the event of organizational or personnel changes within the company or associated facilities Other duties as assigned

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

5 Years' experience in materials, logistics and manufacturing environment, preferably in food manufacturing preferred. Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal and both written and oral communication skills Excellent computer skills

• Microsoft Excel and Word, Spreadsheets, JIT delivery systems Bilingual
• English and Spanish preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must have the ability to maneuver around an array of equipment. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, climb ladders and/or stairs. Will have some exposure to fumes and airborne particles. Must be able to work in a cold environment. Must be able to lift 25 lbs.

WORK HOUR & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work beyond regular business hours, weekends, rotating shifts required.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree preferred, High School Diploma or GED required.
