$150,000 - $200,000 USD Day to day Own and maintain detailed bill of materials (BOM) cost models across energy storage products, covering materials, cells, modules, power electronics, and packaging. Develop should-cost models to benchmark component and supplier pricing against market rates and internal expectations. Identify and support cost-reduction opportunities across the supply chain, including supplier negotiations, design-to-value initiatives, and make-vs-buy analysis. Analyze supplier cost structures, trade terms, and logistics economics to support sourcing decisions and manage supply risk. Build financial and operational models connecting procurement and manufacturing decisions to margins and unit economics. Partner with engineering, procurement, operations, and leadership teams to support pricing, sourcing, second-sourcing, and supply chain strategy. Translate complex technical and supply chain information into clear financial insights and recommendations. Requirements 5+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, operational finance, sourcing, commodity management, or a similar field. Experience as a Global Supply Manager, Commodity Manager, Sourcing Manager, Supply Chain Program Manager, or in finance within a manufacturing or production environment. Strong knowledge of BOM cost modelling, should-cost analysis, sourcing strategy, and/or manufacturing economics. Strong understanding of supply chain cost drivers, supplier pricing, and operational trade-offs. Exceptional Excel and financial modelling skills, with experience building detailed, bottom-up cost analyses. Ability to turn complex technical and operational information into clear financial insights. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Comfortable working independently and solving ambiguous problems in a fast-moving environment. Experience within energy storage, battery systems, hardware, or other manufacturing-intensive industries is highly desirable. A genuine interest in sustainability and contributing to the transition toward cleaner energy.
