Our Operations organization seeks a level 2 Operations Engineer/SIOP Simulation Analyst to join our mission in Highlands Ranch, CO. In this role, you will develop and execute strategies to improve master data accuracy and material availability and decrease production span while reducing total costs. You will also summarize simulation results and lead time accuracy, and track and own span compression activities, as well as manage demand irregularity criteria, supply flag logic, and shortage reports.Duties will include:
- Identifying critical parts for lead time performance analysis and conducting string lead time analysis
- Evaluating and prioritizing process improvement issues
- Analyzing supply chain and demand data to draw meaningful conclusions and drive appropriate actions to reduce costs and maintain schedule
- Recommending lead time compression strategies
- Creating and presenting data and metrics in a meaningful fashion to all levels of leadership to communicate actions, goals and strategies
- Managing the aggregation of demand and supply constraints in a planning system, such as Kinaxis, and maintaining dashboards to visualize simulation results
- Developing and executing strategies to improve master data accuracy, span management, SIOP simulation execution, and Line of Balance analyses
- Executing simulations to draw meaningful conclusions and drive actions
- Communicating performance metrics, SIOP actions, simulation results, and optimization management strategies to SIOP leadership
Basic Qualifications:
- Professional experience in inventory management and/or supply chain roles, including updating demand and supply plans, supply chain metrics and analytics, and providing insights into business operations and conducting risk analysis for long-range plans
- Experience with SAP as it applies to Supply Chain Management, experience in Supply Chain Management concepts and processes
- Strong understanding of Aerospace and Defense manufacturing processes, business strategy and business models
- Strong understanding of span compression and lead time management efficiency opportunities; performing lead time segmentation and using span analytics
- Experience with continuous improvement of lead time review and capacity data maintenance processes
- Experience developing and implementing actions to reduce span time and improve overall efficiency
- Experience creating powerful visualizations and data stories that lead to effective influencing without direct authority; strong communications skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint experience
Desired Skills:
- Bachelors degree in a Supply Chain Management type program or AI/Data Analysis related program
- 3-5 years of prior Supply Chain, Business Administration, Manufacturing Operations and/or similar field highly preferred
- Flexibility and ability to balance priorities to support goals and targets while providing the customer answers and data in support of business decisions

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $63,800 - $112,470. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.Benefits offered:

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
