Job Description
Job Description We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Material Handler to join a growing defense manufacturing organization in Longmont, Colorado. This individual will report to the Sr. Manager of Supply Chain & Operations and be responsible for the receipt, storage, distribution, tracking, and shipment of materials, supplies, and equipment supporting both commercial and U.S. Department of Defense programs. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, material handling, warehouse operations, or distribution, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. A large majority of this person's day will be on the receiving side. This role will work closely with Engineering, Accounting, Purchasing, and Inventory teams to track materials, maintain documentation, and support internal and external audits. The position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance, with preference given to candidates who already possess an active clearance. This role will require a 5 day/week onsite schedule in the team's Longmont office. This is a direct hire role, with hourly pay ranging between $25-$32/hr, depending on years of applicable experience.
