In this role, you will be instrumental in optimizing inventory levels, analyzing supply chain data, and supporting procurement and logistics operations. Your expertise will drive process improvements, enhance inventory accuracy, and ensure seamless stock management across multiple channels. Responsibilities Monitor and analyze warehouse distribution data to maintain optimal inventory levels across all storage facilities. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as AS400 and SAP to track stock movements, order fulfillment, and materials handling activities. Conduct root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies, stockouts, or overstock situations to identify process inefficiencies. Collaborate with procurement, merchandising, and logistics teams to develop sourcing strategies and negotiate supplier contracts for materials and products. Perform data mining and visualization using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Excel to generate actionable insights on inventory trends, demand planning, and supply chain analytics. Support category management initiatives by analyzing sales data from Nielsen or e-commerce platforms to optimize stocking strategies. Lead process improvement projects related to warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, materials management, and inventory control. Assist in financial analysis related to pricing models, financial modeling, and cost reduction initiatives within the supply chain. Manage logistics inventory management activities including 3PL coordination, shipping & receiving schedules, order fulfillment accuracy, and materials handling procedures. Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with safety standards such as forklift operation requirements. Experience Proven experience in warehouse distribution, inventory management software (such as ERP systems), and logistics operations. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools including Excel (data analysis skills), SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and Nielsen datasets. Demonstrated ability in negotiation, supplier management, sourcing strategies, and contract management within a supply chain context. Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400 or similar platforms is highly desirable. Knowledge of demand planning techniques, production planning processes, and materials management practices. Familiarity with freight logistics including 3PL providers, shipping & receiving protocols, heavy lifting procedures, and materials handling safety standards. Excellent cross-functional communication skills to collaborate effectively with procurement teams, warehouse staff, retail management, and external vendors. Technical proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle; experience with SQL for data collection and analysis is a plus. Ability to perform root cause analysis on complex issues related to stock discrepancies or process bottlenecks. Strong math skills combined with the ability to interpret financial data for modeling purposes; experience with financial analysis is beneficial.
