Job Description

Are you a highly organized and analytical professional looking to make a measurable impact in the manufacturing sector? We are seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Analyst / Production Planner to join a fast-paced team in Waterbury, Connecticut. In this role, you will coordinate material requirements, capacity, and scheduling to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels. You will be at the heart of our operations-creating production schedules, monitoring progress, managing inventory, and collaborating closely with our procurement and logistics teams to prevent shortages and ensure timely, accurate delivery.

Develop weekly and monthly production plans and schedules, ensuring manufacturing activities align with sales forecasts and customer demand.
Inventory Optimization:
Analyze inventory levels to maintain optimal stock, proactively reducing excess while preventing shortages of raw materials and finished goods.
MRP/ERP Management:
Utilize ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, MES) to release manufacturing orders and maintain accurate inventory records.
Material Coordination:
Collaborate with the procurement team to align raw material availability with active production schedules.
Troubleshooting:
Monitor daily production progress and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate maintenance, machine downtime, or shifting demand.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and elevate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), focusing on on-time delivery.
