Full Job Description Overview:
R&P is looking for a Senior Logistics Analst who wants to join our team in support of the U.S. Navy. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients.Responsibilities:
Provide integrated logistics and weapon-system support to our Navy client Align spare parts, repairs, provisioning, inventory, and program management with fleet readiness goals and weapon-system requirements Develop and execute the material budget for surface fleet Interpret Navy and DoW directives and translate command priorities into actionable guidance to resolve significant operational problems and adjust resources to meet fleet needs Generate reports, schedules, recommendations, plans, performance metrics, and briefs as necessary to assist in logistics management Provide support in the area of supply and technical data across the ship class. This includes assistance with and coordination of prime contractor and Government field activity efforts to create provisioning technical data, Allowance Parts Lists, technical manuals, and other related technical data. Monitor and report on development of the Coordinated Shipboard Allowance List (COSAL) and implementation of shipboard and shore-based IT systems necessary to order repair partsQualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus at least 15 years of relevant work experience. US Citizen Active Secret Clearance Proficient in MS Word, Power Point, Excel, Access, Project, and Visual Basic Applications Ability to travel up to 10% to support customer requirements Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and alongside others in a team settingEEO Statement:
