The Impact You'll Make As a Data Analyst Intern - Supply Chain, you'll play a hands-on role in turning data into insights that keep materials moving and customers satisfied. Your work will directly support supplier performance, material availability, and smarter planning decisions across a global supply chain. You'll contribute to real digitalization and analytics initiatives—building dashboards, analyzing trends, and helping teams see risks and opportunities earlier. This is not a classroom exercise; your work will be used by decision-makers. By the end of your internship, you'll have practical experience working with real supply chain data, modern analytics tools, and cross‑functional teams at Danfoss. What You'll Be Doing Collect and structure data from multiple supply chain sources to create reliable datasets for analysis and reporting. Analyze and transform data using Excel and/or Python to uncover trends, correlations, and improvement opportunities. Build and maintain Power BI dashboards that track supplier capacity, material availability, quality, and customer-related KPIs. Support recurring reporting cycles by updating dashboards and line-of-balance reports used for planning decisions. Document processes and insights to improve transparency, knowledge sharing, and future automation. What We're Looking For Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or Engineering. Strong skills in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, Power Query, advanced formulas) and experience with data analysis tools such as Python or R. Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools for building dashboards and telling data-driven stories. Ability to clean, organize, and analyze large datasets with attention to detail and data quality. Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
