Purchasing & Inventory Analyst

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing & Inventory Analyst to join our team and is eager to learn and grow with the organization. This role is ideal for someone who may not have extensive purchasing experience but has strong analytical skills, enjoys working with data, and is motivated to quickly develop expertise in inventory and supply chain operations. Ideally, this candidate will be a self-starter who asks questions, takes initiative and thrives on continuous improvement. Responsibilities Support purchasing activities including creating purchase orders and tracking deliveries Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and identifying discrepancies Analyze inventory and purchasing data to support decision making Work with ERP systems to track materials, orders and inventory movements Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth operations Identify opportunitites to improve processes and increase efficiency Required Qualifications Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including: Formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, IF statements) Pivot tables and data analysis Conditional formatting Experience working with data and using it to solve problems Exposure to or willingness to learn and become an expert on ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, or similar Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and take initiative

Preferred Qualifications:

Any experience in purchasing, inventory, operations, or supply chain (not required) Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environments Familiarity with basic inventory concepts or forecasting Key Traits for
