Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift) LLOYD, Inc. | Pharmaceutical Manufacturing | Full-Time LLOYD, Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role supports a pharmaceutical, highly regulated manufacturing environment, where attention to detail, safety, and compliance are critical to product quality and operational success. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with hands-on maintenance experience who is ready to grow their technical skills while working in a cGMP/FDA-regulated production setting supporting critical manufacturing operations. What You'll Do As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring equipment, systems, and facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory and quality standards. You will work independently and with others to troubleshoot issues, complete repairs, and support preventive maintenance programs in a regulated production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and system-related equipment issues in a regulated manufacturing environment Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, building systems, and facilities Install, repair, and maintain manufacturing and facility systems in compliance with quality and safety standards Operate hand and power tools safely in accordance with SOPs and safety requirements Support audits, inspections, and compliance-related maintenance activities as needed Assist in planning and coordinating maintenance and improvement projects Support snow removal, groundskeeping, and general facility maintenance Contribute to preventive maintenance program development and continuous improvement initiatives Train and direct employees on proper procedures, including: Equipment safety and compliance practices Cleaning and sanitation requirements Equipment setup and operation Troubleshooting and repair procedures Work independently or in small groups during maintenance tasks in a production environment What We're Looking For We are seeking a dependable technician who understands the importance of working in a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment and takes pride in accuracy, safety, and accountability.Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, industrial, or facilities maintenance Ability to follow written procedures and verbal instructions precisely (SOP-driven environment) Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently in a regulated production environment Valid driver's license (for travel between sites as needed)Preferred:
Associate's degree in a technical field 3+ years of maintenance experience Prior experience in cGMP, FDA-regulated, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments Skills & Knowledge Successful candidates will have familiarity with: Safe operation of powered tools and maintenance equipment Mechanical, electrical, and building systems troubleshooting Preventive maintenance practices in regulated environments Reading mechanical and electrical blueprints and schematics cGMP guidelines and FDA regulatory expectations (strongly preferred) Strong communication skills and ability to document work clearly Ability to train and guide others when needed Flexibility to respond to changing priorities, audits, and emergency maintenance needs Physical Requirements This is a hands-on role in a manufacturing environment.Candidates must be able to:
Stand, walk, kneel, crouch, crawl, stoop, and twist throughout the shift Climb ladders up to 40 feet Lift up to 60 lbs Work in varying environmental conditions (temperature, noise, etc.) Why Join LLOYD?
