Job Description
Senior Materials Coordinator

The Senior Materials Coordinator is responsible for leading day-to-day production planning and scheduling activities to support safe, complaint, and efficient manufacturing operations. This role is also responsible for material handling activities including shipping and receiving, cycle counting, inventory transactions, and kitting production materials for assembly. This role serves as a key liaison between Production, Quality, Engineering, and Procurement to ensure production plans align with demand, capacity, inventory targets, and regulatory requirements. The Senior Materials Coordinator provides functional leadership to assembly technicians, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures adherence to Stryker's quality system, policies, and performance expectations. What You Will Do Develop and execute production schedules that align with customer demand, inventory targets, and service level requirements. Monitor schedule adherence and adjust production plans based on changes in demand, material availability, or operational priorities. Balance labor, capacity, and material constraints to support efficient manufacturing operations. Maintain planning data within ERP/MRP systems, including lead times, lot sizes, and routing information. Perform cycle counts, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and complete inventory transactions to maintain inventory accuracy. Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities and communicate with parcel carriers regarding inbound and outbound shipments. Pull and kit production materials to ensure assembly teams have required components before shift start. Analyze planning and inventory metrics, communicate priorities and risks to stakeholders, and implement process improvements that improve planning efficiency and supply reliability. What You Will Need Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, materials management, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment. Experience using ERP/MRP systems for production planning and inventory management. Experience performing inventory control activities, including cycle counting and inventory reconciliation. Ability to operate material handling equipment, including hand trucks. Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree.

APICS/ASCM
certification such as CPIM or CSCP. Experience in a regulated manufacturing industry, including medical device, pharmaceutical, or aerospace. Experience supporting new product introductions, engineering changes, or process validation activities. Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis experience. Previous lead-level or senior-level production planning experience. $32.40 per hour plus bonus eligible + benefits.Health benefits include:
