You are being redirected Once you are on the page, please click the refer button Job Overview Qualifications Benefits Job Overview The Demand Planning Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining , and optimizing stocking policies for service parts across the supply chain network. This role focuses on inventory availability, service-level attainment, and strategic stocking parameter management rather than standalone statistical forecasting. The analyst ensures the right parts are stocked at the right locations by leveraging system tools, service parts demand behavior, and operational constraints. This role ensures that demand plans are accurate , data ‑ driven , operationally feasible , and embedded into planning and replenishment systems , directly impacting service levels, inventory investment, and customer satisfaction.
The position balances:
Analytical depth (forecast accuracy, data modeling, automation), Operational execution (inventory deployment, replenishment alignment), Process and systems thinking (legacy platforms, IT enhancements, modernization). Responsibilities including but not limited to : Manage and optimize stocking policies, including min/max levels, reorder points, service-level targets, and demand variability factors. Evaluate service parts demand patterns to determine appropriate stocking classifications such as A/B/C segmentation, lumpy vs. stable demand, and critical vs. non-critical parts. Recommend policy adjustments based on lead times, supply constraints, demand patterns, and operational priorities. Drive inventory right-sizing initiatives, drive and hold stakeholders' accountable proper levels of inventory. Maintain demand planning parameters within MARCS, F2K, or equivalent planning systems, ensuring alignment with stocking strategy and inventory goals. Review and validate system-generated planning outputs for correctness and adherence to policy. Collaborate with supply, procurement, and depot operations teams to align stocking strategies across the network . Execute long-term inventory health plans aligned with S&OP and Mopar strategic priorities. Analyze inventory availability, fill rates, and service performance to identify improvement opportunities. Perform safety stock analysis and recommend adjustments based on demand variability, lead-time changes, and risk mitigation needs. Support depot-level UCS analysis to ensure stocking policies optimize space utilization and service coverage . Lead digital transformation efforts to modernize reporting pipelines using Power BI, SQL, and advanced analytics tools.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Analytics, Finance, Engineering, or related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain analytics, or operations planning. Strong command of inventory planning methodologies, E&O frameworks, and financial implications. Expertise in data analytics and reporting tools (Excel Advanced, Access, Cognos, Power BI). Experience leading teams and managing cross-functional projects. Ability to manage complex datasets and deliver clear, actionable insights. Strong communication and executive presentation skills . Ability to work on ‑ site per Stellantis in ‑ person work requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience within the automotive or service parts industry.
Hands-on experience with Stellantis systems:
CITS, CLTSO, MARCS, Cognos, F2K, WMS, and mainframe reporting. Knowledge of SQL, Python, or data automation tools. Familiarity with S&OP processes and KPI governance.
