Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Material Control Analyst to manage the flow of materials, maintain optimal inventory levels, and support production operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient supply chain processes and accurate inventory control within a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the flow of materials from suppliers and offsite locations Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels based on production and shipping needs Track and record incoming shipments accurately and in a timely manner Coordinate material ordering and delivery to support daily production schedules Control on-hand and incoming inventory volumes, including build-outs and obsolescence Support transportation coordination to optimize inventory turnover Order materials for new product launches based on production plans Escalate supply or quality issues to relevant stakeholders Ensure compliance with industry quality standards Perform additional tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese 2+ years of experience in purchasing, inventory control, or supply chain operations Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.) Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)

Preferred Qualifications:

3-5 years of relevant experience Experience with additional ERP systems (e.g., Plex)

Education:

Associate degree in Business or a related field Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related discipline preferred

Work Environment:

This role operates in a manufacturing environment and may require extended periods of standing, handling materials, and occasional lifting. Exposure to machinery and production equipment is expected.
