Materials Coordinator Schedule:
1st Shift | Monday -
Friday Status:
Full-Time | Hourly (Non-Exempt)
Pay:
$19-$23/hr (DOE) Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Materials Coordinator to support production and inventory operations. This role is responsible for receiving materials, managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and preparing kits to ensure smooth production flow. Key Responsibilities Receive incoming parts and materials from customers and vendors Enter and maintain accurate data in inventory systems Create packing slips and coordinate daily shipments (FedEx, UPS, couriers) Prepare kits for production, including pulling parts and labeling Maintain accurate inventory levels and perform cycle counts Support documentation and bill of materials (BOM) review Track and manage customer-owned materials and residuals Communicate with customers regarding material status or discrepancies Resolve issues such as missing, damaged, or incomplete shipments Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 5+ years of experience in an electronic manufacturing environment or similar 1+ year of customer service experience Strong understanding of electronic components and materials required Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Skills & Requirements Ability to follow written instructions and procedures Basic problem-solving skills and ability to handle material discrepancies Strong teamwork and ability to work under pressure Knowledge of inventory systems and documentation practices Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly Ability to sit for extended periods Occasional bending, kneeling, and reaching Work Environment Clean, well-lit, and organized facility May be exposed to noise, oil, or grease in production areas Additional Information Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential Overtime may be required based on business needs Apply Today!
