Process Documentation & Standardization Develop and maintain standardized work instructions for material handling processes. Create visual work instructions and training materials for materials and logistics activities. Document current-state and future-state material flow processes. Assist with process audits and identify opportunities for standardization. Vertical Lift Module (VLM) Support Develop work instructions for VLM transactions and material retrieval processes. Assist with organizing and optimizing VLM storage locations. Support inventory accuracy initiatives within the VLM system. Monitor VLM utilization and identify opportunities to improve efficiency. Kitting Operations Support the development and implementation of production kitting processes. Create standard work for kit creation, replenishment, and material verification. Assist with evaluating kit accuracy and identifying process improvements. Support material staging activities to ensure production readiness. Point-of-Use Inventory Assist in designing and maintaining point-of-use inventory locations. Support replenishment process development and documentation. Evaluate material presentation and flow to improve manufacturing efficiency. Participate in 5S and workplace organization initiatives. SAP & Inventory Control Perform and validate material transactions within SAP. Support inventory reconciliation and transaction accuracy efforts. Assist with cycle count investigations and inventory audits. Develop process documentation for common SAP materials transactions. Help identify and resolve inventory discrepancies. Continuous Improvement Participate in Lean Manufacturing and materials improvement projects. Collect and analyze operational data to support process improvements. Assist with initiatives focused on reducing material movement and improving inventory accuracy.Education, Work Experience, Skills and Competencies Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to create process documentation and visual work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
