Job Description
Supply Chain Internship (Fall 2026-Spring 2027 Semesters) Supply Chain Internship - Toledo, Ohio Libbey is looking for an analytical and energetic student, who thrives on versatility and tackling challenges. This role will support the Materials Planning team based in Toledo & Monterrey. This role will be responsible for reviewing and entering international shipping documents, Create metric tools for planning functions, data entry in JD Edwards ERP, and various related tasks. The Materials Planning team is responsible for the global supply of inventory that directly supports our customers' orders. Our team works closely with Libbey manufacturing plants, 3^rd party suppliers, sales & customer service, project management, marketing and distribution teams. Successful candidates will possess exceptional attention to detail, a proactive mindset and a can-do attitude!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Materials Planning Team by tracking late shipments and updating ETA's
- Enter international shipping documents and maintain purchase order quantities & ETAs
- Update daily, weekly & monthly reports for metric review, for various supply chain functions
- Assist in other projects and/or processes
- Exposure to JD Edwards ERP system & Advanced Excel Analysis, REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field, is required
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Exce
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to balance autonomy with collaboration, navigating between solo tasks and group efforts
- Accountability for assigned projects with a commitment to see them through to completion
- Effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks or responsibilities simultaneously
