Job Description:
Manufacturing Materials & Planning Analyst ???? On-site - State College, PA ? No relocation assistance provided ? Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer. Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future. We're looking for a detail-driven analyst who thrives in Excel, reporting, and data-driven decision making to support our production planning and materials operations team. This role is a critical link across operations, engineering, and supply chain-turning data into insights that keep production moving. What You'll Do Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs for planning and inventory performance Analyze MRP data, shortages, demand signals, and material risks to support production continuity Use advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis) and tools like Power BI/Smartsheet to drive operational insights Support work order tracking, material flow, inventory coordination, and production readiness Partner cross-functionally to communicate material status, constraints, and planning issues What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience in manufacturing planning, materials management, or supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel skills (required) Experience creating reports, dashboards, and working with large datasets Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) Ability to translate data into clear operational actions Experience with Power BI, Smartsheet, or similar visualization/reporting tools preferred
