We are seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Order Management Assistant to join our team at our Newark location . This is a temporary-to-hire, full-time position. It is a 100% on-site role, and we do not provide remote or hybrid work options. The Order Management Assistant will support daily order processing, logistics coordination, post-sales activities, reporting, and accounts receivable follow-up. Candidates with experience in order management, logistics, wholesale operations, or distribution are strongly preferred. However, we are also open to training the right candidate who is proactive, willing to learn, and eager to take on new challenges.

Responsibilities New Order Processing:

Process and confirm daily customer orders, both in the system and in EDI, validate order details, submit shipping request to warehouse, generate and submit invoice and shipping details.

Post-Sales Support:

Prepare and manage documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, parts requests, and credit-related paperwork.

Logistics Support:

Provide logistics support as needed.

Reporting:

Prepare detailed reports on operational performance metrics to inform management decisions.

A/R Support:

Perform payment follow-up to ensure accounts remain current. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement effective solutions.

Requirements Education:

College degree preferred, preferably in Business, Operations, or a related field.

Experience:

0-2 years of experience in wholesale operations, logistics or distribution.

Technical Skills:

Experience with ERP software and EDI systems. Familiar with shipping terms. Basic Microsoft Office knowledge is highly preferred.

Language:

Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration. Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and propose practical solutions.
