Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
This position supports the IBP Supply Planning processes and will be the back-up for our Supply Chain Process Managers. The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering analytics and key BI reports for the team. The scope will range from daily supply exception reporting to quantitative analysis for finished goods inventory. Learning the basics of Supply Planning in SAPs / APO will also be a key part of this role as it is a gateway role towards becoming a Supply Chain Process Manager.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
(not all inclusive): Maintain and deliver various reporting tools, such as, production change tracker, block exception, inventory performance. Maintain the Production Schedule Adherence process and related reporting. Support the inventory management processes with assigned analytics. Learn the Supply Planning process and be able to assist / back up a Supply Chain Process Manager on key activities in their absence. Provide supply planning for a limited portfolio of plants. Participate in weekly demand and supply reviews [RSIOP meetings] with Plants, Regional Market managers, Customer Service, SCPMs and Logistics as assigned. Under the guidance of the team, work with Plants to set and maintain stock item replenishment strategies (minimums, reorder points, safety stocks, and maximum levels) given plant SKU breadth, product importance, shipment volume and plant constraints such as warehouse capacity. Apply the same to the external warehouses. Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve any imbalances. Function as the regional support expert regarding inventory management for assigned plants at NGC. Work with local plant experts (Plant Managers, Production Managers, Production Schedulers, and Warehouse Managers) to set and maintain plant warehouse capacities, desired average warehouse inventory levels (given business volume), and preferred mix levels. Actively manage external warehouses from ongoing replenishment, inventory targets and ensuring Stock Transfer Order continuity on a weekly basis. Resolve all supply chain voids. Work closely with the Supply Chain Process managers to perform quantitative supply planning analytics to support; block schedule adherence, inventory management, supply planning execution. Implement and rollout solutions to improve visibility. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Education:
A S . from an accredited school of business in one of the following degrees; Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Business, Global Supply Chain Management, Economics, Finance, Statistics or Accounting. A liberal arts or life sciences degree with an MBA from an accredited school of business. An Associates degree from an accredited school of business in one of the disciplines mentioned above under the B.S. requirement plus a completed APICs CPIM Prefer 3 years of related experience in supply chain management A willingness to formally learn

Competitive Salary, with a general salary range of $96,336.00 to $120,420.00, or higher depending on education and experience.
