Position Summary The ideal candidate for our Supply Chain Planning Analyst will have a passion for Supply Chain, Logistics, and a proven track record of improving supply chain processes and maximizing efficiency. Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to) Develop and implement planning strategies to improve supply chain processes. Evaluate planning, inventory, fulfillment and other data and create reports for management. Forecast supply and demand to ensure optimal inventory levels. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues. Conduct cost-benefit analysis for logistics operations and make recommendations for cost savings. Work with Warehouse on transportation and distribution operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. Develop and maintain relationships with transportation providers and suppliers Ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards May support Customer Fulfilment team with account-level re-orders and new PO solicitation while building and maintaining direct relationships with customer counterparts at multiple organizational levels. Coordinates fulfillment of product shortages and supply constraints in conjunction with production control managers. Resolves fulfillment issues cross-functionally with IBP team members, account managers, and customers; handles escalations with professionalism and urgency. Identifies and forwards final points of escalation for unresolved issues to VP of Supply Chain Supports customer order fulfillment satisfaction survey on at least an annual basis. Supply customer inventory reporting requirements and processes. Reports on open purchase orders and tracks authorized/forecasted production quantities against customer volumes. Support Supply Chain and Customer Operations team with ad hoc reporting, analysis, and scorecards Provides monthly dashboards, customer inventory and sales reporting. Contributes to critical business data and its integrity in SAP in collaboration with Global Business Services to support order fulfillment requirements. Other duties as needed by management and/or business needs. Qualifications Required Previous manufacturing or customer fulfillment experience required. A minimum of 3 years' experience in logistics or supply chain analysis is required. Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management software. Advanced data analysis and reporting skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong understanding of supply chain processes and logistics management systems. Experience with data analysis and reporting with BI, ERP or similar. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Above average in Microsoft Excel and other logistics software. Preferred Experience managing or mentoring team members. Familiarity with IBP, demand planning, or S&OP processes. Education and Certification Bachelor's Degree in highly preferred. Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or similar credentials is greatly valued. Additional certifications may be required at a later date. Preferred Attributes Self-starter with ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Track record of building trust and demonstrating results. Ability to perform well in ambiguous situations. Ability to balance operational requirements against customer needs. Excellent planning, organizational, and presentation skills. Strong organizational skills are needed to manage multiple tasks, heavy e-communications, maintain records, and track progress on various initiatives. Poses excellent negotiation skills; ability to balance operational requirements against customer needs.
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $86,000.00 per year
