ORA_ON_SITE Description SAIC is seeking a Logistics Analyst to provide support at the SAIC Middletown, RI Office for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center for multiple programs.
Job Duties:
The individual will provide material procurement support including development of procurement documentation Complete, scan, archive, and manage procurement records and transportation/transfer requests Interface with vendors to obtain quotes, processing Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders Update Excel spreadsheets with relevant information, kitting and tracking inventory, interfacing with customers to develop procurement requirements and to provide status updates, and to attend meetings, develop meeting minutes and track action items. Develop MS Excel procurement tracking documentation. Develop project management support documents including program plans, office communications and memoranda, and organize documents. Individual will require a government clearance and strong computer skills. Other duties may include developing technical reports, preparing assorted presentations, and assisting with the management and tracking of other project data, as required.
Qualifications Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree and minimum three (3) years of experience. Ability to acquire government clearance. MS Office proficiency including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Detail oriented and organized. Quick learner and proactive. Ability to manage logistical issues.
Preferred:
DoD Experience. Procurement Experience. Ability to work with databases.
