Job Overview Operate the scales. All scale tickets must be verified and contain correct information in regards to customer, material, weights. Accurately inspect all materials ensuring correct weights, materials description and grade for all inbound and outbound loads. Determine the grade of material and enter into the inventory system. Assist in the sorting and processing of materials. Assist in loading and unloading of vehicles. Ensure accurate documentation of scale transactions. Communicate material discrepancies with Operations Managers. Communicate and assist yard staffs as necessary. Follow detailed specifications on outbound loads. Adhere to all safety, and environmental standards. Keep a clean and organized work area.
