What you will be doing The Scheduling Analyst role within the Manufacturing department at Umicore Catalyst USA Bayport plant is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing production schedules to ensure efficient operations. Based in Pasadena, TX, this position supports manufacturing by aligning production capacity, materials, and demand requirements. The role operates within a structured hierarchy, reporting through the Manufacturing Planning Manager up to the Manufacturing Manager. The analyst is expected to manage timelines, monitor workflow, and help maintain on-time delivery while minimizing bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the production process. Who we are looking for Education and/or Experience Bachelor degree in: Engineering, Accounting, Administration , Supply Chain Demonstrated experience in Operations or experience in Planning is required Language Skills Must have excellent presentation skills Strong oral and written communication skills Directive and open communication Mathematical Skills Strong LEAN knowledge and/or certifications Must be able to analyze data Create spreadsheets for calculations of capacity utilization. Reasoning Ability Must be able to manage multiple deadlines with competing priorities Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Strong inter-personal and management skills (communicating, motivating, and developing team members) Self-motivated individual who can work independently and make decisions Work well under pressure and also very detailed oriented Multi-task Computer Skills Good proficiency with the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint SAP Systems MES Systems Other Qualifications Strong knowledge of manufacturing, inventory control techniques, logistics; and planning background would be beneficial Adhere to a code of ethical conduct Decision making Information integrity To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies : Is supportive and helpful with a credible, reasonable and persuasive appearance. Lead independently the day-to-day schedule Self-starter and able to deal with ambiguity.
