As a Radiology Imaging Specialist, you will perform routine and specialized interventional radiographic procedures, collaborating closely with radiologists and a multidisciplinary team. Schedule:
4x10 hour shifts each week, 0700-1730, with rotating day offRequired Experience & Qualifications:
Demonstrated IR (Interventional Radiology) experience, pediatric focus preferred ARRT certification required VI (Vascular Interventional) Certification preferred Valid TMB (Texas Medical Board) credential required BLS certification requiredKey Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality interventional radiology procedures with precise technique and positioning Serve as a compassionate liaison among patients, radiologists, and the healthcare team Uphold rigorous standards in radiation safety, patient confidentiality, and effective communication Prepare, administer, and document contrast agents and medications according to regulations Maintain appropriate exam room inventory, ensure safety compliance, and support a hazard-free environment Verify patient identity and pregnancy/informed consent status, providing population-appropriate care Evaluate patient readiness for procedures, anticipate needs, and respond efficiently Provide mentorship and educational support to colleagues, students, and ancillary staffPerks & Benefits:
