Job Description
This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project. This position plays a critical role in optimizing supply chain operations through strategic planning, analysis, and execution of materials management processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating complex supply chain activities across global operations, ensuring seamless integration of planning decisions with production requirements. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can balance multiple priorities while maintaining focus on delivery excellence and continuous process improvement. Working with cross-functional teams, this individual will drive efficiency in inventory management, production scheduling, and order fulfillment while implementing best practices that enhance overall supply chain performance.
Responsibilities:
Incorporate change and planning decisions to develop optimal supply chain solutions Apply Supply Chain Management methodologies to ensure effective coordination across the global supply chain Analyze complex material requirements and verify Bills of Material accuracy Incorporate production schedules into comprehensive production plans Determine and maintain accurate part number attributes within system databases Initiate, coordinate, and authorize order releases based on system requirements and resource availability Monitor and ensure on-time delivery of materials and products Document order delinquencies and implement resolution strategies Report schedule adherence issues to appropriate stakeholders Develop and control inventory plans to support business objectives Optimize inventory levels to balance availability with cost efficiency Analyze and disposition excess inventories through appropriate channels Initiate and coordinate inventory audits Develop and create schedules for products and services Assist in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals Implement and maintain process improvements by establishing best practices for materials managementSkills:

Previous experience in supply chain planning, materials management, or production control Demonstrated experience with inventory management and optimization Background in analyzing and resolving supply chain issues Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment Pay Rate Range 29 - 33 USD hourlyBenefits Information Optional Benefits:
