Job Description
Position Summary:
Optimizing warehouse operations through strategic inventory placement and data-driven decision-making is critical to delivering exceptional service and operational efficiency. We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive Slotting Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing inventory movement and product velocity to ensure materials are optimally slotted throughout the warehouse. You will partner with operations to support promotions, product launches, inventory consolidations, and continuous warehouse optimization.Overall Responsibilities:
Analyze inventory movement and product velocity to identify A, B, and C runners and ensure materials are slotted in the most efficient warehouse locations.- Generate and maintain reports that support slotting decisions and identify opportunities for improved warehouse efficiency.
- Create Transfer Orders (TOs) in SAP to facilitate material moves and maintain accurate product placement.
- Coordinate slotting activities for new product launches, promotions, and seasonal volume changes.
- Monitor and execute inventory consolidations while identifying opportunities to improve space utilization and inventory organization.
- Maintain accurate slotting information and support ongoing warehouse cleanup and optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with Operations, Inventory Control, and warehouse leadership to implement slotting changes that improve productivity and service levels.
- Track key slotting and warehouse performance metrics, identify trends, and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
